Global Warming Ranks Dead Last as a Concern for Americans
According to the Pew Research Center, Americans care less about global warming than they do about nearly everything else. Just 28 percent of Americans rate global warming as a top priority for 2010. This is 10 percent fewer than two years ago.
"Since 2007, when the item was first included on the priorities list, dealing with global warming has consistently ranked at or near the bottom," according to Pew.
The Pew study shows that the economy ranks as the #1 concern of Americans. So instead of passing job-killing legislation like cap-and-trade, perhaps the President and congressional leaders should finally turn their attention to creating jobs and growth.
